What I’ve Been Reading…

Beautiful Chaos by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

Incarnate by Jodi Meadows

Partials by Dan Wells

Purity by Jackson Pearce

bittersweet by Sarah Ockler

My favorite thing about the Beautiful Creatures series is that Ethan is such a good male narrator. And I like Link. Alot.

Incarnate was really well done. I’ve read other books where reincarnation was central to the plot, but this one was tons better. Plus, it had dragons.

Partials was good. I had heard it was exceptional, so I think I was a bit let down. I liked it, and I’ll be reading the next book in the series for sure, but I just didn’t find it as wonderful as other people had said.

Purity was fun. I love Pearce’s Sisters Red universe, and I was interested by her departure from fantasy. I liked how Shelby was so honest and real, but it wasn’t the greatest book I’d read or anything. I did like Ruby alot though.

I’m just now starting bittersweet and I think the cover is adorable. I also like how the title isn’t capitalized. I liked Ockler’s Twenty Boy Summer and Fixing Delilah, so my hopes for this story are high.

30 Day Book and Literature Challenge- Day 15

Day 15: A book you haven’t read but is on your “will read” list.

Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler

Sarah Ockler has written two other novels that I adore, Twenty Boy Summer and Fixing Delilah.

All that is keeping me from Bittersweet is my status as a broke college student, and the face not one library in my area has this book yet. Not one, in a three county radius!

Ridiculous!
